Fun times with catchy tunes

Definitely one of those movies that’s more fun in a theatre so you can hear different types of reactions along the way. Some awesome world-building, full-bodied suspense, and genuine creep/thrill make this one a really fun ride.

Florence really carried this one, huh?

I saw it put best as “achingly human,” this one beautifully weaves sharp wit and devastating anguish. More than anything it felt honest, saying and showing the hard parts and the weird parts of trauma.

I can’t tell which of these two I’m more attracted to and

I’m beginning to think this Miyazaki guy kinda doesn’t like war or something.

Well-made genre fun. If you don't look at the description or poster, you may accidentally think this is a romance/rom-com... the first act is pretty whimsical and sets the stage really nicely without giving anything away. Oh, and that was some fun camera work. Dutch angles! First person! Perspective shifts!

Absolute masterpiece! I'm in total awe of the set design and special effects.
